Epilepsy part 2

Epilepsy

During childbirth, the newborn may experience compression of the bones of the skull due to the narrow pelvis in the mother leading to a lack of oxygen,
Environmental reasons:
Epilepsy may be caused by:
1) Environmental and profession that requires exposure to lead, carbon monoxide, and some chemicals
2) Use of drugs and alcohol in the streets
3) Lack of sleep, or hormonal changes. For this reason, people who suffer from epilepsy should make sure to get enough sleep, and we should try to stay on a regular schedule as much as possible.
4) Leave some anti-depressant, anxiety and anti-drug drugs.
We must not forget the usefulness of prostration
The great ones removed these charges.
The prostration is mentioned in the Noble Quran about (92) times in about (32) surahs, and in the Holy Quran, there are places where prostration (prostration of recitation) should be about (15) places.
On the authority of ABU Hurrah that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (The closest thing a servant is to his Lord is the Almighty, and He is prostrating and multiply the supplication).
On the authority of ABU Hurrah, he said, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (If Ibn Adam recites the prostration, then the Devil retired, he cries, saying: Oh, and he commanded the son of Adam to prostrate and prostrate to Him, and He commanded prostrating, so I will abolish the Fire).
What are the benefits of prostration ???
The human being is exposed daily to electric and magnetic charges from the surrounding environment, and these charges dominate the central nervous system, especially the frontal part of the brain, and therefore these charges must be disposed of, otherwise, the result will be pain and cramps in the neck and some muscles of the body. This is why many people resort to taking sedatives, drugs, and medications to reduce stress on the brain, sometimes it turns out that we need psychiatrists and neurologists. And the best way to get rid of these charges and their effects is to put our head, especially the forehead, on the ground to empty the charges, and in this way, we get psychological relief, and prostrating on the seven organs has a great impact on the joints of the spine, and on the process of movement of the blood and its return to The heart is from all areas of the body. Likewise, the prostration process helps to treat hemorrhoids, and prostration also facilitates the release of secretions from the nasal and facial sinuses. And during the two submissions, when we turn our neck to the right and to the left, we have treated muscle spasms in the neck and shoulders, which in turn helps to treat headache spasticity.
What is Aura?
These are signs that the affected person feels before they experience a seizure, such as a change in body temperature, strange taste or smell, and other sensations of an internal source. These signs vary from person to person. It is a warning sign of an impending attack. The aura may occur without a seizure, or the aura itself may be considered a minor partial seizure.
Types of epilepsy:
List of types of seizures
  • Partial seizures: Partial seizures
  • Simple partial seizures with Aden loss of consciousness.
  • Complex partial seizures with unchanged consciousness and psychomotor disturbance.
  • Partial seizures ending with generalized seizures
  • Primary generalized seizures: Short absence episodes of seconds (minor fit).

  • Cyclonic muscle jerks in a part of the muscles of the body or extremities.

Conic seizures.
  • Tonic seizures.
  • Major seizures (tonic-clonic convulsions), the traditional type that accounts for 60% of epileptic seizures.

What is a partial seizure?
Also known as focal shift, it only occurs in part of the brain
Simple partial seizure:
In this case, the patient feels sudden tremors and movements of one part of his body, and there may be impaired vision and hearing in the patient, but his awareness is not affected.
Partial seizure:
The patient is characterized in this case by an indeterminate and indiscriminate behavior, such as pulling clothes, stuttering, and other unbalanced movements. He is also characterized by weak awareness of the patient and therefore does not remember the occurrence of a seizure after its removal from it, or that it is not clear to him.
General Nubia:
This seizure occurs in all parts of the brain where the patient loses' consciousness completely.
Treatment of epilepsy with medication:
Medicines used for epilepsy are called anti-epileptic drugs that reduce epileptic seizures and prevent their occurrence if the patient commits to take them regularly. Thus, the patient can continue his life naturally and soundly without worrying about having a seizure while doing any work such as playing sports. But there is no complete cure for epilepsy.
Mechanism of action of these medicines:
Antiepileptic drugs stop seizures by controlling the electrical discharge of brain cells.
Epilepsy drugs can be classified according to their working mechanisms:
1) Medicines that prolong the inactivity and inertia of sodium channels:
This mechanism works by prolonging the period of inactivity and disobedience, and thus extending the period of sodium channels closed, and thus inhibiting the transmission of high-frequency nerve fluids accompanying epilepsy.
What is epilepsy?
The seizure is a temporary seizure that occurs suddenly as a result of the increased electrical activity of the brain cells. And when these episodes recur chronically — regardless of the time period between the seizure and the other - it is called epilepsy.
It spread
In a study conducted to find out the prevalence of epilepsy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was found that 0.654% of society had this disease.
This percentage is close to the prevalence of epilepsy, according to Western statistics, 0.5%. According to Western statistics, 2-5% of people develop a seizure at least once in their lives. It was also found that the incidence of infection in industrialized countries is lower than in developing countries.
The mortality rate for those with this disease increases for four main reasons: suicide due to depression resulting from this disease, the status of continuous epilepsy, injuries resulting during an epileptic seizure, and sudden death.
Its divisions
Epileptic seizures are divided into three main sections: grit.
