Stem Cells

We often hear about stem cells and their importance and role in many health aspects, but do you really know what these stem cells are? What are its role and benefits? We present to you all this and more in the following article.
What are stem cells?
They are cells capable of developing themselves for any type of cell in the human body during the early stages of life and growth. They also act as an internal repair device in the tissues of the body.
Stem cell features:
Stem cells differ from other cells in the body in several things, perhaps the most important: It can divide and renew itself with time, They are non-specialized cells and therefore cannot function in the body, It has the ability to develop itself into specialized cells such as muscle cells, blood cells or even brain cells.
Stem cells are divided into two types:
Embryonic stem cells: are cells derived from human embryos with four or five days. When a sperm fertilizes an egg, we have a single cell, known as a zygote, to start dividing, Embryonic.
Adult stem cells:
These types of cells are found in the tissues of the brain, bone marrow, blood, blood vessels, skeletal muscles and the skin to the liver.
These cells remain dormant and do not divide for several years until they are activated by disease or tissue damage.
What are the benefits of stem cells?
So there are many hopes that stem cells are built on and can be used to treat many diseases. Researchers and doctors hope to:
Understand how to get some diseases by studying stem cells.
The use of healthy cells instead of damaged and infected, where stem cells can form any type of cells as mentioned earlier, which can be used to regenerate and repair damaged tissues and cells in the human body.
People with spinal cord injuries, type 1 diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, heart disease, stroke, burns, cancer, and osteoporosis may benefit from stem cell therapy.
Stem cells can be used to develop some tissues for transplantation and regenerative medicine.Examine the safety and efficacy of new drugs before using them in humans using stem cells. The researchers' success in using stem cells in treatment means that they can treat the following diseases:
cancer
Alzheimer's
Parkinson

Congenital defects
Spinal cord injuries
Rejuvenation and repair of damaged organs in the body
Hair regrowth for those who suffer from baldness
Autism
Improve the symptoms of stroke
Treatment of eye problems
Treatment of scars and burns.
All these things indicate that there is a great and bright future that will enable us to harness the use of stem cells for the benefit of man and the treatment of some difficult and intractable diseases.
Though we are on the road so far, stem cells are expected to be new epilepsy in the medical world!
